Case study noise pollution

A case study was illustrated using a 3D city model for Chennai city. This involved building simple 3D city model, generation of 3D observation points (that represent the virtual microphones) and noise calculation using standard noise calculation models.

In view of the above direction, the noise created by the use of loudspeakers in the Church was considered noise pollution and nuisance by the High court. The court has also stated the noise pollution is injurious to humans health and the possibility of serious illness from it. Direction to control noise was given to the church.
